Il n’est que trop évident et depuis trop longtemps, que le peuple palestinien ne peut compter que sur lui-même pour dépasser l’affrontement suicidaire dans lequel ses représentants l’ont enfermé.

Il est pour cela nécessaire qu’émerge, en débordant toutes les expressions institutionnelles existantes, une voix pacifique venue des profondeurs de la Palestine, et qui rencontrera des échos jusque dans les profondeurs du peuple juif.

Il s’agit de proclamer, de manifester et d’activer sur le terrain et aux yeux du monde la volonté de fraternisation du peuple palestinien avec le peuple juif, contre leurs représentants assoiffés de haine.

Cette perspective n’est pas nouvelle, on en trouve des expressions périodiques à travers l’histoire, une des plus récentes étant la coopération à Jérusalem même, entre Palestiniens et Israéliens, face à la pandémie.

Pour la première fois depuis des décennies, en mai 2020, on a vu fraterniser les soldats et la population dans des quartiers à haute tension, lors de la distribution de nourriture et de produits de première nécessité.

Daoud Siyam, un habitant de Silwan évoquait « l’aube d’une nouvelle ère », étouffée depuis.

Car ce que redoute le plus l’État israélien, ce ne sont pas les roquettes du Hamas, mais la contagion d’une paix à la base.
Or, cette paix et cette fraternisation sont non seulement la seule réponse historique possible au conflit séculaire, mais aussi le germe d’une nouvelle société, où c’est le peuple lui-même qui va redessiner progressivement l’ensemble de ses liens et de ses activités, dans tous les domaines.

Sous la radicalité de la crise palestinienne couve la possibilité d’une solution planétairement exemplaire.

It is all too obvious and has been for too long that the Palestinian people can only rely on themselves to overcome the suicidal confrontation in which their representatives have trapped them.
It is therefore necessary for a peaceful voice to emerge from the depths of Palestine, overflowing all the existing institutional expressions, and which will find echoes in the depths of the Jewish people.
It is a question of proclaiming, manifesting and activating on the ground and in the eyes of the world the will of the Palestinian people to fraternise with the Jewish people, against their representatives thirsting for hatred.
This perspective is not new, there are periodic expressions of it throughout history, one of the most recent being the cooperation in Jerusalem itself, between Palestinians and Israelis, in the face of the pandemic. For the first time in decades, exactly one year ago, in May 2020, soldiers and the population fraternised in high-voltage neighbourhoods during the distribution of food and basic necessities. Daoud Siyam, a resident of Silwan, spoke of « the dawn of a new era », which has since been stifled, as we can see in this grim month of May 2021, and certainly not innocently.
For what the Israeli state fears most is not the rockets of Hamas, but the contagion of a grassroots peace.
Now, this peace and this fraternisation are not only the only possible historical response to the age-old conflict, but also the seed of a new society, in which it is the people themselves who will progressively redraw all their links and activities, in all fields.

Beneath the radical nature of the Palestinian crisis lies the possibility of an exemplary planetary solution.
